Oral Fluid Drug Screen

Oral fluid testing is conducted by collecting saliva samples using oral swabs. Oral fluid drug testing is an efficient, non-invasive and directly observable drug testing option. Oral fluid samples can be conducted anytime and anywhere, and can significantly reduce the possibility of tampering and adulteration.

Oral fluid testing is not permitted for DOT testing and Drug-Free Workplace Program.

Oral fluid testing is appropriate for pre-employment, reasonable-suspicion, random, post-accident and return-to-duty testing.

Drugs tested for under oral fluid testing:

Amphetamines (including methamphetamines and ecstacy)
Cocaine
Marijuana
Opiates (codeine, morphine, 6=MAM and heroin)
Phencyclidine

Negative results are available from the lab the net day, with confirmed positives reported within 72 hours.

What Our Clients Say:

We implemented the Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace Program in 1998 with the guidance of Fortier, who has conducted our Supervisor’s Two-Hour Training and our Employee One-Hour Training each year. We find that these training sessions are carried out in a professional manner, but with enough informality to keep people’s attention so that they actually learn the material being presented.
